There are several reps that love to do parties. If hosting parties is
your thing (it is not mine!) you can actually get good sales from them.
There used to be quite a bit of "party selling" info on the boards,
there isn't so much anymore. Here is some info that I have collected over the years from various reps at various times from
the Your Avon forums.
A book party is
an easy, no stress way for your customer to earn a discount or free product, and for you to build your sales. You can host
a book party in your customers home or a customer can host the party and simply submit orders and paymet to you on or
before a specified date.
A book party can also be held online making it a web party. You follow the same recipe as
a normal party. You have a "hostess", who would get a discount or free product according to the total orders that her
guests placed, you email the invites out to friends & family. The guests would browse your website placing their orders
there or emailing them to you or your hostess.
